CAF Champions League: Enyimba Edge Rahimo, Face Al-Mereikh

Nigeria representative in the CAF Champions League, Enyimba international of Aba, survived a late scare from Rahimo FC of Burkina Faso and qualified for the next round of the competition, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The People's Elephant was confident going into the encounter at the Enyimba international stadium in Aba after securing 0-1 away win in the first leg last weekend.
The first half started with the hosts dominating the game but were unable to breakdown the well-organised defense line of Rahimo.
The first chance of the encounter fell to Tosin Omoyele in the 50th minute but failed convert the chance.
The game decider and goalscorer in the first leg, Victor Mbaoma, replaced Omoyele in the 56th minute and adding attacking pressure and put the visitors on their back foot.
Captain Austin Oladapo netted what looked like the winning goal in the 60th minute from a long range effort.
Ware silenced the home team in the 75th minute as he equalized the goal with a cool finish.
Enyimba's Imo Obot was given a marching order in the 94th minute for a dangerous play but the Nigeria side was able to hold on and progressed to the next round with a 2-1 advantage on aggregate.
Meanwhile, Enyimba international will face Sudanese side, Al Mereikh in the next round of the competition after the later defeated AS Otoho of Congo 3-1 on aggregate .
